Starting a website...
"I want to have a website. What should I have in the website?" you asked. The standard answer from web designer is usually, "It depends on your business needs. What do you want this website to do for your business?"This kind of answer sucks.
The main issue is that most people do not know what functions and features available to be incorporate into a website within a reasonable cost. A good web designer would be able to quickly list down what a website can do, i.e. forum, auto-respondent, easy update of blog and CMS, stat, survey, video, etc.
With the entire viable functions and features list available for you, only then you can address the next question, "What functions you want your website to perform?"
